Blayne Ward was born on a Friday in New Orleans. She received her degree in Graphic Communication from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi (also on a Friday), and currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama (all the time). She’s worked many different places, including Defend New Orleans, Cerberus Agency (formerly CPR + Partners), the University of Southern Mississippi’s University Communications department, and FRED (formerly BW&Co).
Her clients include the University of Southern Mississippi, the Lyric Theatre, Purell, Southern Prohibition Brewing, Warner Brothers Records, Gawker Media, Dixie Beer, Tulane University, The National Harp Society, Alabama Power, The R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, and The Voodoo Music + Arts Experience.
Her former job titles include antique store clerk, movie theatre concession stand supervisor, on-campus resident assistant, plasma donor, and salesperson at a popular king cake bakery.
She loves true crime podcasts, film history, costuming, parentheticals, candy corn, and pretending like she doesn’t accidentally kill every plant she gets. (Even the cactus.)
