Typecase Proposal Book

I was commissioned by Typecase Industries in Washington D.C. to do a series of illustrations for a very special project. A man had commissioned them to create an entire printed and bound storybook that told the story of him and his girlfriend, leading to the last page, where he would then propose. There was an elaborate plan involved including their favorite book store and them “finding” the book on the shelf, before he surprised her at the end. It was a joy to work on this project. (She said yes.)
